She sure looks sweet...

...And Jenna is. MOST of the time. And she's ALWAYS funny whether she means to be or not. Check out some of The TERROR's" newest phrases:

"No fair!!" This was when Tim wouldn't let her do something or she did not get her way. I'm not sure which. Isn't it a little early to be starting that?!?!

She likes to sing "Rain, rain go away" when it rains. One day a couple of weeks ago she said, "Hey! It no works!!" (Works is pronounced "gworks.")

We call my maternal grandmother (that we spent this past weekend with) Mamaw Doc. "Doc" because it is part of her last name. Anyway, all of us did. My cousins did too. And Jenna is the only one who said this, "But SHE'S (drag out she's) NOT A DOCTOR!!" Who would have ever guessed she'd connect the two...
On Friday Jenna wanted her bath before dinner so, "I can eat and then go straight to sleep." She did.

My Mamaw has a cot and Jenna slept on it. We put up an Elmo "Melmo" bed rail and it angered Jenna. She "Didn't wanna sleep with Melmo!!" She went both nights with no rail and did fine. Jenna also remembered our "play yard" or what we call a "Pack and Play" and she was a bit upset Ashley got to sleep in it and not her. While I was at the funeral on Saturday Tim said she got in and laid in it quietly for about an hour. Of course should would do this when I am not there to enjoy the quiet!

Jenna also told a someone, "What's wrong with your mouth? Why is it stinky?!" We have officially entered into the embarrassing others phase.

This is Ashley doing her trademark "Turtle Face." First time captured on film. And she does this all the time.
After the funeral we all went to my Mom's cousin's house. Jenna took a decorative tassel that was hanging of the back door and began dusting EVERYTHING while saying, "This place is a mess. This place is dirty." For the record, it was very clean. Cleaner than here...I guess her mess and her dirt do not bother her as much here, but she really is the cleaning-est kid I know (after my sister Amy of course). Lucky for us he thought it was funny and his wife was pointing her in the direction of where she wanted her to clean!!

Cousin Kay had a little kitchen and various other things at his house for his grandchildren. Jenna played and loved it there. One problem. She needed salt and pepper while pretend cooking and did not understand why we wouldn't give her any. "It's not fair" may have been said.

Also while there, she tried to put one of those Fisher Price stacker rings on my Dad's (Pa's) wrist and it wouldn't fit. She'd take it and put it on herself (it fit) and would say, "See. Like this Pa! Push harder!"

And in this picture, we were walking around Downtown Disney and she stayed behind. She had posed herself and was saying, "Cheeeeese!!!!!"
There are a lot of shops and fun things for kids to do there. Jenna enjoys it when we take her. She was so good the whole weekend (craziness aside of course) so we took her Sunday afternoon before we left to come home.

Tim and I took Jenna to the Rainforest Cafe there too. My Mom kept Ashley at my Mamaw's house. We went there last April (you can go back in the archives) when we took her to Disney World for the first time. Anyway, Tim asked Jenna if the gorillas or elephants were mean and Jenna said, "No. Mommy is mean all the time." UGH! She asked why they were "angwy" and Tim told her because they were hungry. Then she gathered up some food and started getting out of her chair. She wanted to feed the elephants!! Awww. She CAN be sweet but she has got a spicy side.
She did not want to leave "Meemaw's" house. We are not sure why, but she decided to call her this during the weekend.

She had her well check yesterday - while not that well with a cold - and they asked Jenna and me questions to check for development, etc. When asked, "Do you wear a seatbelt in the car?" The kid said, "No." ARGH!! Um, she is always fully caged, er, restrained in her car seat. They were amused...

Me, Jenna and Boo on a Harley...Look at us go!
I have more pictures from the weekend and more stories but will get to that another time.
