Big Kid Ashley

Time to reveal Ashley's milestones:

She can scoot on the floor on her tummy. Kind of an Army crawl that goes backwards and forwards. She gets SO MAD when she goes in reverse though. We got her to do it by using, yes that's right, a My Little Pony being placed just out of reach. She's not all over the place but I know that day is coming sooner rather than later. I was crawling - full speed- during my fifth month so who knows...

The other thing Ashley did was say her first word!! You will NEVER guess it and if you can I will be SHOCKED! She has since said "baby" when seeing a picture of herself. She's brilliant!! (I know, every parent is like this about their kids!)
Also, let me clarify by saying Ashley can sit on her own, using her hands to steady herself, but only for a few seconds. I thought I put that before and I didn't. I figured everyone knew what I meant when I told about her "face planting" but in case you did not I meant that she sits for a few seconds then goes down. And she gets so mad. ("So mot" for Aunt Amy).

She is also now able to reach the floor in order to jump in her Jumperoo. She LOVES to stand and jump these days so it works out great!

Cute pics. Jackson pretty much gets anywhere he wants with the army crawl, rather quickly. I had to double check my babyproofing in the house. I guess that her first word was jenna as well. She is an early talker!
