Going away

We are all going to Orlando this weekend for my great aunt Louise's funeral.  She was a sweet woman who always remembered us and our girls.  She loved getting pictures of us and the girls and always sent us cards and notes to tell us how much they meant to her.  She was also my Mamaw's (my mom's mom) life line last year when she had all those medical problems.  She was also a dear friend to her and lived down the street from her for many, many years.

This woman has always amazed me.  She lost her husband (my Papaw's youngest brother) when he was young and raised three kids on her own as a school teacher.  She never remarried.  She always seemed to be in high speed as she ran around and took care of everyone around her.  She has done a lot for both my grandparents and was active until just a month or so ago.

Please pray for her family as they mourn and for our safe travels.  My parents are going as well.

So, we are going down if for nothing else than to cheer up Mamaw with the kids.  I will  be attending the services and Tim will stay with the girls at my Mamaw's house.  Hopefully we can take the kids somewhere fun before we head home on Sunday.

Ashley turned five months old yesterday and I have pictures but no time to get them up.  We are leaving around lunch time.  See you Sunday night or Monday.
