The Band-Aid

Yesterday after church Jenna and her Aunt Amy went outside to collect acorns and stomp on acorns as is their custom. Jenna fell off the sidewalk and skinned her knee. Jenna was pretty upset until Amy pulled a band-aid out and put it on her knee. Then, for THE REST OF THE DAY, we heard about how she fell, got a boo boo and how Aunt Amy gave her a band aid. Last night, we had to take it off and give her a new one - against her will! It had some blood on it and we wanted to put some ointment on it too. She was upset because "Aunt Amy gave it me." I had to convince her that Aunt Amy would have wanted it this way and that it was perfectly normal to change a band aid and look you can have a My Little Pony band aid! She wasn't too sure about it and still went on about how Amy told her to leave the band aid on (?!?!) and such. She is a loon.

Hi- I have been reading your blog since you became pregnant or right around that time period. I go to church with Brian and Kristy and found you through Kim's blog. I met her once at VBS. Anyways- your kids are adorable and your blog is so funny. I love to check it. You should really consider going into photography one day because you capture such great photographs. What kind of camera do you have? My camera=blah. Look forward to more cute stories. Jennifer L.

Ian has decided that band-aids make EVERYTHING better, so he wants a band-aid anytime he hurts himself...no matter if it's bleeding or not. It's funny (most of the time) how dramatic they are :)
