Happy Birthday, Daddy!

Dear Daddy,

Happy birthday from your little princess! Here are some pictures Mommy took of me yesterday when I made your birthday cake. Don't worry, Mommy was there and did not let me get too close to the oven. Oh, she helped me a little bit too but she said I could say I made it all by myself!

I was very excited to make you this cake. I even woke up at 2:00 AM yesterday to make the cake. Sadly, Mommy and I had not gone to the store to buy the stuff to make it with yet. I put on the apron Nana gave me and was ready to get to work!
As soon as I poured the cake mix into the bowl I started eating it. I got chocolate all over my face and then felt a little embarrassed. Mommy said it was alright and I kept on cooking. I added all the ingredients myself.
Mommy let me use the hand mixer.
I kept a close eye on the chocolate frosting because Mommy's been looking a little chunky these days...
This is what happened when Mommy told me we'd have to wait till Daddy came home to eat the cake after dinner!! I was horrified.
Then I was sad...
Then, well, I was just mad.
Then Mommy said I could try a little bite of cake. I was thrilled!
I watched and I waited...
This is near where I ate some of the cake from the chair. I made a mess.
After I had some cake. It looks like all of it went on the floor...I was silly. I was so excited for you to see the cake I made. I was so proud and I knew you would be too.
I put on all the candles myself. Wherever I wanted.
Almost all done. I am so proud of what I made!
Oh, and by the way, Baa wanted to help too but Mommy said her hands were too furry. It's the thought that counts. I love you, Daddy! (Oh, and Mommy does too!)
