Another Lesson Learned

The other night we had left over lasagna for dinner. The first time we had it I served it with garlic bread. I meant to make some again but forgot...until Jenna asked for it. Oh no.

Jenna: "Bread. Breeeeeeeaaddddd!!!"

Me: "Let's say the prayer first and then we'll get you some bread."

Jenna: "No. Bread!!"

Me: "Let's pray and then Mommy will get you bread."

Jenna: "No pray. Bread!"

Lesson Jenna taught me:
When one fails to prepare garlic for a meal it clearly goes with a prayer will NOT be said according to Jenna. A meal without garlic bread, when it is clearly needed, is not worth praying for. Tim and I prayed and she sat there. Then we gave her plain white bread because she would have lost interest or already been done with dinner time once the garlic bread was ready.
