I am 18 weeks pregnant today and beginning my fifth month. She is the size of a large sweet potato now (I swear the books and web sites just make this stuff up!) and is 6 inches in length from crown to rump. She weighs about 8.5 ounces. She is growing hair too!
I am doing fine and eating all the time. Tim says I "enter a room belly first." I'm sure it is not that bad yet but I know it will be! I can't believe we are almost half way there...seems so soon and yet so far away until we get to meet _________. I know her already and love her so much. She already has such a personality in the womb just like her big sis Jenna did!
Here are a couple of pictures of what an 18 week old fetus looks like. This first one was done with some kind of scope and I am not sure about the next one.

Awww....

Today was
supposed to be a fun and exciting day. I was
supposed to get to see my baby girl today...I was
supposed to have my level 2 ultrasound this morning. (This is when most people find out what they are having, but we already know.) Turns out they misunderstood something that has to do my insurance and I have to go to Jacksonville to get the ultrasound. That's where I went with Jenna and was surprised they wanted to do it here in my doctor's office but I thought it was just because this is a different doctor and they do things differently. I guess not. They felt awful about it and I had Jenna and Tim with me. So, yeah, I was kind of disappointed and I would have been fit to be tied if I did not already know we are expecting a
pink bean. So now we are having it done on Monday morning. Ughhhh. I will get over it. Not much else to report on that front. I will update after the appointment and get the ultrasound pictures up after too.
In other news we thought it would be fun to have Jenna "practice" being a big sister with Molly. Tim swaddled Molly and demonstrated the correct way to hold a newborn, support the head, etc.

Then it was Jenna's turn to hold Molly. She was cracking up but did fairly well. Then Jenna wanted a turn at "being the baby." She wanted to be swaddled and that was such a sight that I video taped it so I don't have any really good pictures of that but we were all laughing.
