So tired...

...Of being tired...

I can't get out of this first trimester fast enough. I am so tired. Luckily, the morning, noon, and night sickness is subsiding but I am still so tired!! Jenna is being good though and I am so glad. I don't have the energy to run after her. When I was pregnant with her, I did not get how other women had other kids around when they were pregnant and I still don't know how I do it. I have a lot of help from Tim though. Thank goodness. The books and websites say I have a few more weeks of feeling drained and then I should feel better. I can hardly wait.

I seem to be hungry all the time. I wake up in the night and I am hungry but have been able to force myself back to sleep. I know soon that won't be an option and I'll have to get up and eat like I did with Jenna. Let me just say that when I am carrying Tim's children I am an eating machine! (Once I get past the "morning" sickness that is.)

Also, I have not gained any weight but I look bigger. I guess things have just changed shape?! I don't know. Tim says I look larger by the day! I guess it is different the second time around and I hear every pregnancy is different. I guess so! I am still in regular clothes but they seem to be getting tighter by the minute.

Jenna has this really cute way of coming up to me, placing her little hand on me and saying, "Mom, you O.K.?" It is so cute. She has also decided that the baby is in my belly button and she has been feeding my belly button baby with her doll's baby bottles.

Another little Jenna tidbit: It seems her new favorite saying (or sentence) is, "I don't know." This is can be said in her regular, sweet voice and in a scary, possessed voice...The scary thing is, she usually doesn't know in response to whatever we are asking when she says it. So she is using it correctly and not just saying it like I know she will one day to get on our nerves. Right now, it's cute, but only for a little while.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

awww... that is so cute about Jenna feeding your belly button :) I hope you start to get your energy back soon! I can agree the second pregnancy you feel fatter sooner. I already feel like a giant cow.

Oh my gosh! I've only been in here sporadically (that's changing, now that I've installed an RSS reader), so this is a cool surprise! Congratulations! :D
