Attack of the TMX and more...

Yesterday a commercial for the Tickle Me Elmo 10 Year Special Edition came on. Jenna got one from Nanny and Poppy last Fall and she ran to her room to get him. She played and played with him. She and Elmo were laughing and seemed to be the best of friends. If you are familiar with the doll, he does all sorts of things. He sits, stands, lies down, and jiggles all the while laughing and talking. He bent over at one point and raised up and hit poor little Jenna by one of her eyes. She had a red mark from it all last night!! She didn't cry and seemed fine with it. Then we went to relax in the family room. Jenna and Elmo were on the couch. Still having fun...Next thing I know Jenna is on the floor crying and Elmo is sitting up on the couch laughing at her!! Attack of the TMX Elmo! (Elmo and Jenna have since kissed and made up.)

I have a great husband. (Please don't tell him I said so!) Yesterday I was just so tired and didn't feel well. After starting the day off feeling pretty good that "morning" sickness crept up and I was in misery most of the day. I did not want to cook and I'm not sure I could have. I wanted Taco Bell. Why - I don't know but that's what I wanted and the minute I said that's what I wanted Tim left the house to go get it. The hormones are crazy during this stage of pregnancy and after he left I thought, "Is he leaving to get away from me or to just get the food?!" ;-) It was so nice not having to cook dinner !

Thursday of last week I kept Jenna home from her morning school so she could get well. Somehow we missed a letter that went out stating this week would be Spring Break. Jenna and I went all the way across town this morning to find no one was there and there was to be no school this week. It is in the school handbook but I guess the reminder got put into her cubby after I picked her up on Tuesday. And of course, we didn't go Thursday. Oh well. We pulled up to the school and Jenna said, "No cars." And I was like, "No cars?!?" Needless to say Molly was SHOCKED when I came back home with Jenna. She uses Tuesday and Thursday mornings to catch up on that extra few hours of sleep she so desperately needs. (We joke she sleeps more than a sloth!!)
