A Treasure Trove

Ashley has become a regular treasure trove of funnies.

The other night at dinner Ashley kept asking for more helpings.  The girl can EAT.  She can put a grown man to shame.

By the fourth request, Jenna couldn't take it anymore.  She said, "You've eaten ALL DAY."

Then...

IT HAPPENED.

Ashley stood up in her booster seat, flung her arms in the air towards Jenna like she was coming after her ACROSS the table (she did not) and screamed, "JENNNNNAAA" like "How dare you tell my secret!!"

It was one of her more hysterical/hilarious moments.

****
Yesterday, at the store, my mom was buying Jenna a folder with two dogs on it.  Ashley wanted to hold it so bad.  When she finally got hold of it she said, "I want to break this."

WHAT?!

****
Ashley decided that she wants to be potty trained.  Like YESTERDAY.  Meaning I am, apparently, behind.  And I have to deal with the wrath of a 22 month old who has to bear the shame and indignity of wearing diapers.

While working on her "potty skills" as we call them, she leaned forward and spoke to herself.  Down there.

"PEEEEEEEEE!"

****
At first Ashley wanted NO PART of the pink princess potty chair that was Jenna's.  She only wanted to use the real potty.  And use it she can.  When she finally relented and decided she could use the princess potty I used the line, "Do you want to be a princess?" to get her to sit on it and try to go.

Her response was a growl!

****
She also threw the THANKFULLY empty potty chair at Jenna's head.

****
Then before lunch today she was standing singing and dancing.  This happens all the time.  I had never heard her say this though:

"Shake your bod-deee!"

****
She also busted out the word armadillo today.

****
I realize a tiny tyrant is on our hands and I am terrified.  She's not even two  yet.

You, or should I say your young'uns, crack me up. When I read posts like this at work I have to try to control my laughter so folks won't think I'm nuts.
