Band-Aided and Other Trauma Drama

Things are never boring around here.  Just the other day, at Publix (AKA "The Pub") Ashley was pulling Jenna's hair.  Jenna said, "Stop acting like a beast!"

Yeah, people heard her and people looked.

Yesterday, Jenna informed me that by having Ashley, I have created a monster.  I have thought that at times, but to hear someone else, even a four year old, voice it nearly did me in.

Ashley is a "Roni Monster."  "Roni" is what she calls any kind of pasta, as in macaRONI.  But I think Jenna just meant she is plain crazy.

Ashley sustained a small (Read: Huge to her) injury swimming in our big kiddie pool the other day.  I think some mulch got to one of her fingers.  It required a band aid.   STAT!  Oh, and it had to match her outfits too...
She was VERY proud of the band aid.  She showed anyone and everyone.  Even dogs at the pet store in the mall the other day.  Funny how a band aid on one finger can make one hunch over and walk slower...Really, it does.  Ashley showed me.

Jenna's band aid ordeal from over a year ago is here.

Anyway, here are some pictures.  Before the tragedy...

Jenna: Goggle Up!
Ashley: "Powering Up!"
(This is something she does often, and this is what we call it - You'd have to see it to get it.  It's hilarious!)
These were taken the day before their daddy set the pool up under the big slide from the playground...

The stories about your girls always crack me up! They may be a handful, but they are cuties!

Have a great weekend!
