Two years ago, before you were even ever dreamed of, things were very different:
We were happy, but didn't know what (or who) we were missing.
And we all had no idea this day would ever come:
One year ago today I gave birth to my tiny little singer/dancer/artist. You.
Jenna still asks to hold you. And I still let her.
And the same can be said for today. I would never have dreamed I'd have this:
A perfect little pie who is so little that I have a hard time finding shoes you can walk in in your tiny size.
You are so sweet and thoughtful. I love it when you run to me with your arms out. If I put mine out too you run into them and hug me tight.
Dancing...
You know so many words. The newest of which are "tickle" and "yay" and "thank" (as in thank you.) You also said "Daddy" instead off "Dada" the other day. You love to sing and dance and draw. You always sing along in the car and it is too cute. Daddy and I are sure you are the musical one. Jenna seems to be more artsy.

You have grown so fast. You promised me you'd remain a baby and here you are a toddler!! So at least remain a toddler for me.
I love the way, after I dress you, you bring me a hairbrush and sit down in front of me. You wait until I fix your hair. And I do it with a smile.
Oh yeah, and you have a super cool big sister who loves you more than life itself. In her very words today, "I feel like we gonna keep her forever."
You are very loved and still so babied. I wouldn't have it any other way. HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY, ASHLEY!Love, Mommy
