Tim's Birthday

Tim's birthday was yesterday. I left him a card out so he'd see it before he left for work like I do every year. I took him out on Saturday night for some Mexican food and made him some Chicken Cordon Bleu, wild rice and green beans for dinner last night. Then we had this yummy ice cream cake for dessert because Jenna said, "I think Daddy maybe might want an ice cream cake from Publix." (?!?!) We threw a little party for him last night. Here's Ashley leaving a wake of destruction on her way to get the party started! Notice she got a party favor? She took it off of Jenna's "E is for Elephant" elephant she made at school last week. It was the trunk...Was being the operative word here. Jenna didn't seem to care too much. The girls and I got him a few gifts... It's not in the pictures, but we also got a Spiderman gift bag because "Daddy likes Spiderman." After he opened his presents - and let's just say Jenna helped a little too much - he played video games while I finished making dinner. The main dish takes four hours to cook so I had started earlier and had to make the wild rice and green beans and some more sweet tea. Then we ate and had cake. Jenna had Tim relight the candles so she could have a turn blowing them out...(This is not at all uncommon in our family for Jenna to do this.) Then Ashley watched some TV after her bath...
...and then collapsed from all the excitement. These pajamas were Jenna's and Ashley is still small enough to wear them. Jenna wore them at 7-8 months old.
Thanks to all the family that called, sent cards and the requested gift cards to Circuit City. :o)

Happy birthday, Tim. We love you!!

Happy Day Tim! I called you at your work number, but not sure if it is still correct. We were thinking of you! It sounds like you were given the Royal Treatment from your gals! I can see you now as King of your Castle! XOXO
