Fun Times

We are back after a weekend trip South to celebrate my maternal grandmother's 90th birthday. (Funny, funny story about Jenna singing to my grandma!) The girls, as always, had a blast there and little Ashley is now able to walk as far as she wants without stopping or falling. She is unstoppable. Running will be soon. Very soon. TOO. SOON. Every day for a while now she would walk a little bit more and crawl less and now the crawling has almost stopped. (I will miss it as Jenna never did crawl, but scooted on her bottom.)

Anyway, my mom threw my grandma a party (for just family and a few very close friends who are pretty much family now) and Ashley was going from room to room mingling! It was so cute. She is still so very little (size 3-6 month clothes here, people and I promise she eats more than Jenna) but to see her being so big and talking with people she had just met was amazing! She was quite the social butterfly and of course, it goes without saying, that Jenna was just as friendly. I have some pictures and I need to get some from my Dad, but in the meantime, here is one from Thursday:
I meant to mention we'd be gone for the weekend last week, and I forgot. It got so busy so fast and we are still busy but I wanted to drop in for a minute.

I love Jenna's hair! When Meadow's grows out I am going to have to know your secret, because that is too precious:)

My hubby's b day was today and we it went pretty much the same. Ice cream cake, my 4 year old "helping" daddy open the presents. I ended up with take out though it was his favorite. Jennifer

That's great that she's walking so well! Phoebe is still not walking, but I'm ok with that. :) I don't think it will be too much longer though...
