Ashley: 8 Months

My baby is eight months old today. (Sniff, sniff.) It all seems to go by much more quickly than it did with Jenna and these past three years and three months have flown by with Jenna! Needless to say these past eight months have passed us by at warp speed!
Jenna and I gave her a dandelion to hold because we thought it'd be cute. Look how confused she looks!"Hey, I think I like this thing!"
"Mommy says eating your greens is very important. I wonder if this qualifies...""Um, yucky!! This was a big mistake!"
"The taste kind of grows on you..." Bebe also looks like she is up to some more plotting...
She had pieces sticking out of her mouth. Don't worry - no dandelions were consumed during the photo shoot!
"Where'd my dandelion go?!?!" There's that famous pout...She looks like a little bulldog.
Luckily, I had loads of help from Jenna in capturing Little Ash at eight months old.
Jenna said, "We have a caaaraaazy baby, Mommy!" I had to tell her that yes, we do, and it is only because the rest of the family is nuts. (Mommy more so than Daddy...)

Ashley is getting to be such a big girl even though she is still tiny in size. We just got into size 2 diapers and she still wears some 0-3 month old size clothing. She is mostly in size 3-6 month old clothes now though.

Ash loves taking baths in the big bath tub with or without Jenna. She splashes and has a blast. She also loves the little kiddie pool and the big pool we swim in with Nana.

She still loves to swing in her little baby swing and giggles and squeals the whole time she is swinging.

Her favorite foods are still bananas and sweet potatoes and she loves to feed herself little crackers, baked potato and sweet potato when I make them for us for dinner. She now sits with us every night in her high chair and tries to add to the dinner conversation.

We are still toothless...I like to call her "The Toothless Wonder." She giggles when I say it to her.

She can stand on her own for a few seconds and can walk with a little help. She is trying to figure out how to pull up to stand on her own. She can walk behind her push toy and is so proud of herself when she does it. (This just started.) She is also trying to cruise holding onto furniture.

As Jenna and I say, I don't know what we'd do without our Lil Ashley Cakes!
