Me: Jenna what are you doing?"
Jenna: "I'll tell you in a minute." (It is just weird hearing a little kid say this.)
----
Beth was over here yesterday and after she was here for two hours Jenna said, "You don't need to wear your shoes" because she always wants hers off when she is at home. Just like her Mommy. Beth had no choice but to remove her shoes.
------
Jenna and I went out to get lunch while Beth stayed here with Ashley. On the way home Jenna said, "I don't want to go home yet. Don't we need to get more food for the baby?" She'll do or say anything to get loose in a store...
-----
I knew I needed to sweep and mop the kitchen floor yesterday, no thanks to Jenna, when at lunch she kindly said, "This floor is NOT clean." Um, I never proclaimed it was. And she brought to Beth's attention. Nice.
-----
This was from a few weeks ago. Jenna decided she wanted to have hair on her chin like her Uncle Jon. She said, "I want hair right heeeere" while pointing to her chin. And then added, "I want to have hair on my chin."
------
The other night she ran over and put a sticker on Ash's head. She said in the sweetest, sing song voice she uses only for her baby sister, "Here you go 'bebe.' I put a sticker on your bald head." I didn't know she knew what bald was...much less the word "bald."
Speaking of stickers, on Monday when I took Ash to the doctor she put address labels on me, Ash's blanket and the diaper bag. I didn't even ask why because she sticks any kind of sticker anywhere. Or so I thought. Then she surprised me when she said, "In case you get lost, Mommy." HOW DID SHE KNOW WHAT THEY WERE FOR??
------
Jenna also starts off every day with a hug and a kiss for Ashley. She then says, "Hi 'bebe' what are you doin' today?"
------
We were getting ready to go pick out our "Ho Ho Tree" yesterday and Tim wanted to change shirts. Jenna said, "You need a Ho Ho shirt!"
-----
She has taken to saying, "What about me?!?!"
-----
Last night at dinner:
Jenna: "You eat all gone?"
Me: "Yes."
Jenna: "You like it?!"
Me: "Yes."
Jenna: " I don't."
It was chicken vegetable soup for the record and now Jenna says, "I don't eat soup, OK?!"
-----
And lastly, from this afternoon:
"I need to go to the store to get a shot."
Shots were brought up because Tim got his flu shot today. Later she added that "shots hurt" but in her two-and-a half years on this Earth she has never cried when getting a flu shot. Not even a month ago when she UNDERSTOOD it would hurt and then WATCHED the nurse put the needle in her arm. I always say she "took it like a man."

Cute. Love that you are so good about recording Jennaisms.
I do so love your blogs~
Angie and Miss Nancy,
Thank you. I actually jot them down but once I am at the computer I remember them anyway. Guess my photographic memory came in handy. It never did in school but it does with this and grocery lists. :o)
