Ashley Update and Crazy Jenna

I notice I don't get to blog as much and when I have a free minute, I use the bathroom. I'm selfish like that. Haha

Baby Ashley update:
Ash may be even more of a high maintenance diva than Jenna! She was putting on a show yesterday when I took her for her well baby check up. Here are the stats for the grandparents and Auntie Char:

Weight: 8 pounds 4.5 ounces (just 0.5 ounces over Jenna's birth weight!) Up from 7.9 from the visit two weeks ago.

Length: still 20 inches

She is in the 11th % for weight and the 15th % for height. It is so weird. Jenna has always been in the 80-90th %'s. She may be a petite lil thing like me! Though I am sure she will bypass my short stature of 5'3."

The doctor also mentioned what we already knew. She is way ahead developmentally. She can hold her head up and basically support from the waist up. I have to support her very little when she sits. She can turn her head and hold it steady very well. She is smiling more and more and starting to make noises other than crying. Thank goodness!

The other day we had to get a rental car and I left Jenna with Tim and went back home with Ashley. As Tim was leaving the parking lot Jenna said, "Take a left. I want to go to the mall." Ah, the girl is after my own heart! She is so funny. Last Friday when we went out on a day of fun with my Mom (AKA Nana) Jenna did not want to come home but wanted "to shop a lil bit more." Ashley wasn't as impressed with shopping as we had hoped she'd be but she was good and slept a lot. At this age Jenna was already looking at all the pretty stuff in the stores!

Well, I need to go spend some one on one time with Jenna Pie before Ashley Cakes wakes up again. I was up at 4:00 AM. Ughhhhh. I will try to take some more pictures and get them up here this weekend. I need to do another sister picture!
