Babies, Diamonds and more...

DAYS LEFT: 20? Or more or less?!?!

I am just back from the ob appointment. I went over to the hospital afterwards to pre-register so now all I have to do is show up when the time comes. There is no way of knowing when it will happen and I asked the doctor but let's just say last time I was this far along I was already in the hospital. BUT, my water had broken with Jenna first so they hold you hostage till you produce a kid after that. I have progressed a good bit since last week in the beginnings - of -it- all- categories. I will not share about my "business" on here because that's just gross and it is private, but Tim and I are on the edge of our seats. We still have so much to do!! No time to do it and we are tired! Yes, we. If I actually do get to sleep now, I snore and then I pant or do "the breathing" like I am in labor and then I scream. Tim told me this today. He had to go sleep on the couch last night and now he is a zombie at work today. He thought for sure last night I'd come get him and say, "Let's go..." But no. Maybe I was having contractions in my sleep or maybe I was dreaming baby girl #2 was on her way but either way, it made it hard for him to sleep.

Baby girl #2's heart rate was in the 120's. Still good but it is usually in the 130's or 140's. She had just had a workout and was resting I guess because she did not kick the Doppler off my belly. I haven't gained any more weight in two weeks and I guess that is good because I was nearing the big 3-0. (Incidentally, I am nearing the big 3-0 in age around when this baby is due...) Shhh!! Blood pressure is good and I am having very little swelling, especially compared to how I was with Jenna and the pre-eclampsia or toxemia. If I am on my feet too long they begin to swell but no sign of the cankels yet, knock on wood!

Now, on to Miss Jenna Belle...Last night she confirmed she IS my daughter through and through. She was talking to me about earrings and then screamed, "I NEED diamonds!!" Ah, music to my ears, but not to her Daddy's.

Hi Kelly,
I think you may have left a comment on my blog, but somehow I think I may have deleted it--sorry :(
Anyway, just wanted to let you know that your daughter is absolutely beautiful. Have you ever looked into modeling, because she definitely looks like one of those little girls that you would see on a Baby Gap ad--SO CUTE!

Exciting news! I had pre-eclampsia w/ Ian and it was SO nice not to have to deal with it with Noah. My OB said that it is more common w/ the 1st baby than w/ subsequent babies...strange.

I can't wait to hear the big announcement! You are so close....wishing you (if I haven't already) and easy delivery.

And, oh the diamonds thing......I think my husband would croak if he heard that out of my daughters mouth. So funny.

Little Miss Jenna is too much! Can't blame her for having good taste at a young age though. Hope you guys get the last minute stuff taken care of before baby #2 makes her way into the world!
