37 Weeks: Basketball and Full Term Status!

DAYS LEFT: 21 (Yikes!)

I am 37 weeks or full term status today! That means if I go in to labor now the doctors would not stop it and I could have her and she'd be fine and dandy! Baby girl #2 is about the size of a basketball all curled up and that is exactly what I look like I have under my shirt - a big, moving, squirming, alien basketball. She is just over 20 inches long and weighs over six pounds. I feel like this "basketball" is made of lead. It all feels so heavy. Her brains and lungs are still developing but all systems are go now. I now snore at night when I actually get to sleep. Tim thinks it is funny. Me, not so much. She is still very active and seems to be getting even more active even though everything I have read says the movement would be slowing down due to lack of space to move in there. This is not stopping her. Not at all. I have not had any more contractions since Monday. I'm not sure how I feel about that. Not ready to go through having her but not really wanting to stay large and in charge either...I go to the doctor tomorrow and will see what is going on then.

Here are some pictures of a fetus at 37 weeks:

I am worn out. That will be all for now.
