34 Weeks: Doughgirl Status!

As of yesterday, I am 34 weeks pregnant and I am, as I say most weeks, very large and in charge, or big as a house, etc...I AM BIG!! And I'm only gonna get bigger! It's a scary thought. A very scary thought... Everything goes straight out because I am 5'3." At least I am not getting big everywhere. That's one plus in all of this!! So, let me explain the "Doughgirl (instead of Doughboy) Status." On one of the pregnancy websites I frequent this is what it said about baby girl #2's approximate size:

"Your baby could be as tall as 20 inches right now and about five pounds. Need a visual? Hold a five-pound bag of flour in your arms and imagine it's your soon-to-be-born baby (cradle it, and you'll only get strange looks in the baking aisle). Then stack three such bags one on top of the other (and get ready for some more strange looks, maybe from the same clerks who saw you grinning and holding that one-pound box of sugar a few weeks ago). That's how tall your baby is now."

According to other sources baby girl #2 is a little over 18 inches long and weighs in at five pounds. Of course, I look and feel like she weighs more than that...

Baby girl #2 is now head down as I mentioned in the 33 week post and feels very heavy against my bladder! This does not please me, especially because she seemed to have turned earlier than Jenna did, but I read somewhere most babies turn between 32 and 36 weeks so I guess we are right on schedule. Now, to see if we are on schedule when the time to actually be born arrives!! Will I share my birthday on the 15th of October or will she come on her due date (the 17th) or will she share my Dad's birthday (on the 26th)?? No offense, Dad, but I hope not for my sake and Tim's...

Baby girl #2 seems stronger by the minute and sometimes actually hurts me! It is not comfortable by any means when she moves around in there!

I also had some professional belly pictures done with my little Jenna on Labor Day. Some showing bare belly and some with a covered belly. I am just waiting on Jon to get them ready and then maybe I can put a couple online if he says that is O.K. Maybe some of the ones I wouldn't mind other people seeing (especially people who stop in that I don't know.) Many of the photos are private and meant for me and Tim. I am thinking I want him to do a collage of pictures of me and me with Jenna but we'll see. I have already picked out the ones I want. Anyway, Jon is also updating his photo site and when that is ready I will let you know. There will be pictures of me and Little Miss on there as well from this session and others.
