Funny Gal

After school today my mom and I tried to take Jenna to a "big pool" to swim. It was a fiasco. (What isn't in my life lately?!) The one we usually go to in mom's neighborhood was closed for chemical treatments. It was closed yesterday too but we didn't get all dressed and try to go yesterday. It didn't have the same element of disappointment. We then tried the base pool. Desperate times call for desperate measures. Closed too. So, we ended up at the Rec Center by my house. We had to pay but by that time I was determined to let my little girl swim!! Below are a couple pictures. I have some really funny ones of Jenna but I am afraid to post them on here (there are sickos out there and these pictures aren't bad, but who knows what someone could do out there in Blogland.) We came home after about an hour at the Rec Center pool. Jenna was saying, "I need to go home! I want to go home!" Sometimes I swear she sounds like E.T. Instead of "phone home" it's "go home!" Anyway, we get here and she wants to play in her big kiddie pool (with the slide like the previous pictures) so we did for an hour and half. I am wiped out!!

Tomorrow Jenna is 2 1/2. I have gotten her to say "I am 2 a half!" That's the closest we can get for now and it's cute. She also holds up two fingers and then her pinkie finger to accentuate the half. I did not teach her that. She is so funny. Every day she thinks up ways to make us crack up and we know she does it just to hear us laugh and then she laughs harder and louder than we do! Like the pictures I was talking about above.
