Mommy, Jenna, Daddy and Teeth!

Here is a picture of me and Jenna from Tuesday night. I was worn out and make-up less as I always am at home. I was having some pregnancy related aches and pains (see previous post) and was pretty much a beached whale after dinner. Anyway, Jenna had just had a bath and had crawled up on the couch with me. She was a clean naked baby in her blanket. She was trying to get me to protect her from her Daddy and the evil hairdryer. I have become her new pillow. Jenna asks me to come sit down next to her and then leans over and uses her baby sister as a pillow. She then says, "Thanks, Mom."
Last night Tim and Jenna worked on another flower bed in the front yard. Jenna had a blast and was so dirty (as seen quite well in the last photo). She loves to help her Daddy do stuff outside and around the house. A few weeks ago she brought me one of her toys and it had a screw to open the top of it. She said, "I need tools!" She is so smart. The scary thing is she knows what tool is used for what and I don't even know!

Here she is pointing at a dragonfly. Tim and I knew what was coming next...
...and we were right. She then decided (with dirty hands) that she would "chatch" the dragonfly with her hands. She was running so hard and thought she could catch him. I wouldn't have been surprised if she did because she can catch a fly going by (as can her Daddy) but she did not catch him. You can see him to the right in the picture.
As for the teeth portion of the post - Jenna woke at 4:00 AM this morning and said, "My teeth hurt." She is finally getting some two-year-old molars. Teething -wise she has always done well (even though she always got two at a time) but I have heard these hurt. Tim was up with her and when he left for work I gave her some chewable Tylenol which always leads to her saying, "I want more!" I could see one of the bottom molars coming in - not sure if the others are too or not. I have learned not to stick my hand in there uninvited...
