26 Weeks: Soccer Ball Status!

I am now 26 weeks pregnant and the little diaper beanetta is the size of a soccer ball. She is over 14 inches tall and weighs in at over two pounds. Her heartbeat can be heard through my belly if you put your ear up to it. She is always active and moving and kicking around and has had the hiccups a couple of times. I am starting to be able to figure out what's what in there. Sometimes my stomach jumps and moves and can be seen by watching my belly. I really am starting to feel larger than a house and I know it is all down hill from here...98 days to go!

Here is a picture of what a 26 week old fetus looks like:
In other news, I thought this past week had been bad. It keeps getting worse. My grandma died. Not fun and we had to make a frantic trip up to Tennessee. Jenna is having trouble readjusting to life without a ton of revelers like she had in Tennessee and is being a twit. And to top it all off, I have an abscessed tooth. The fun never ends. Jenna has also regressed a bit in the potty training department and we are working on that one too. So that is what I got to do today. Go to the dentist. They began the root canal process and will finish it in a few weeks. The pain is still there but not near as intense as it was last night and this morning. With me, they come on so quickly and progress very rapidly. The dentist says he's never seen anything like it.

Oh, I feel your pain! You poor thing! I had an abscessed tooth and a root canal a couple years ago and pray I never have to go through that again!

I am sure Jenna misses all the attention. It was great to be with her for a couple of days in a row. :o)

It's always SO hard dealing with Ian after he's spent a lot of time around family! Hopefully she'll be back to her normal self soon :)
