Thursday afternoon Jenna asked for some Dora the Explorer fruit flavored snacks. She walked off eating them and less than minute later came up to me and said, "All gone. More please." I knew she could not have eaten them that quick so I asked her where they were and she just looked and me and blinked. I asked her again and this is what she said, "In the trash can." Ugh. It's so funny to me that she just tells it like it is and still thinks she will get more of what she wants. It won't be so funny when she starts to "tell stories" AKA lie.
As heard in our house Thursday after lunch:
Jenna and I were in a separate room from Molly (AKA Baa).
Jenna: "Mom, I go check on Baa."
Me: "OK. She's probably asleep."
Then I hear all this running, chasing, shrieks of joy and barking. Jenna comes running up to me saying: "Help me! HELP ME!!!! Mom, Baa's crazy!!"
Another thing I hear all the time in our house:
"Broke nail! Broke nail!" If I ever go another day without hearing this at least once it will be a miracle. Jenna has at least one "broke nail emergency" a day and requires said nail to be fixed immediately. When I have a nail that is jagged or broken I have to fix it right away as well but it is EVERY. DAY. I have nail clippers stashed all around the house for these occasions.
In other news I had my baby check up appointment yesterday. Usually my Mom keeps Jenna but since she is out of town in Tennessee I had to take her with me. She did so well and was so good. When we heard the heartbeat Jenna said, "Aww. My baby." It was so cute!
Everything is going well. I am having another ultrasound (Level 2) at the end of the month. I have gained six pounds total. The heart rate was in the 130's and 140's. (Slower than Jenna's ever was!)
Since Jenna was so good at the doctor's office I took her through McDonald's drive through to get a Happy Meal and another "Shrek" toy. They had stopped doing Shrek and they had "Surf's Up" toys. Jenna was so distraught she did not even want to eat fries on the way home. Very unlike her.
Have a great weekend!
