Ants, Split Ends and a Flashback

The other day Jenna was playing with my hair and told me, "Mom, you have ants and split ends in your hair." Hmmm. I've never said the words split ends around Jenna (and I have very few, thank you very much) but the ant thing... I don't know. I wasn't even outside. She was pleased with herself. Every crumb or unidentified thing on the floor (idoors or out) is "a ant." Maybe it was a joke? Oh well. Jenna's Mommy has gross, dead, dirty, ant-ridden hair - apparently. :o)

Another word I have not said - maybe ever- is "shawl." OK, maybe when I was a kid I said it...Jenna wraps her blankets around herself and says, "My shawl." She surprises me every day. Especially when she tells me untrue things about my hair. ;oP

Below are pictures of Jenna last June 5th. So little and we thought she was so big. In the first one she was trying to be just like Daddy playing video games. This was not posed.
