26 months, froggy, bugs and bubbles

As of Sunday, the 22nd, Jenna is 26 months old. Here is a picture of her yesterday (4/23) chasing bubbles. I usually take a picture of her on the 22nd of every month but this month it didn't happen.

She also decided she needed a bug cage so we set out to buy one. She caught a little bug near her Nana's house but turned it loose when Uncle Jason caught her a tree frog. We played with him for a while then we let him hop home. We ate lunch and stayed at my Mom and Dad's house for a few hours with my mom and my brother Jason.

We came home and Tim was already home from work. I ran to the store - I had to have corn on the cob for dinner! Jenna got in a bikini, played in her pool, in the hose, blew bubbles and caught more bugs. She caught a "creepy crawly" as she called him and then a black widow spider!
Tim called me at the store and of course I freaked out. He told me her asked her, "Where did you get this spider?" She answered, "Itsy Bitsy Spider" and did the motions with her hands from the song. It was cute, yes but a million things race through your mind. Was she bit? Where was this thing? Are there more? What will could happen? What could happen? Of course there are more spiders! It's unsafe to go outside again! Let's stay inside forever!! We checked her for bites or any sign the spider had gotten her and then we had to get it out of the cage and get rid of it. I knew they were around here (our house) and Tim has seen them before around the house but it is still scary. Hopefully we have deterred her from getting any more spiders..."Creepy Crawly" did come in the house (in his cage). He was freed before bedtime.

So, if you got this far in the post, I'd like to know something. We may be finding out the sex tomorrow morning and I'd like you to tell me what you think: Will it be a boy or a girl??
