15 Weeks: Orange Status

I am in week 15 now. The diaper bean is now between 4 and 4 1/2 inches long crown to rump and weighs about 3 ounces. I am feeling the baby kick a couple times a day now and know that soon it will be all the time and getting stronger and stronger. The baby is about the size of an orange (curled up, maybe?) and the books and web sites say the baby is moving all the time - sometimes may or may not be felt.

I am feeling better every day. I am getting my energy back slowly and not feeling as sick as much of the time - if that makes any sense. My appetite seems to be getting bigger by the day as does my tummy. Yesterday in particular Tim and I both noticed my stomach had a much rounder look to it. This baby is on the way!!

Tim, Jenna and I did go and find out the sex of the baby today. We are alerting family and close friends and then I will post it online sometime soon. ( I know, it's mean. I'm sorry, but it's only fair.) The baby was very active and hamming it up for the sonographer. I got some good pictures and will scan them and post them soon. I don't have a scanner anymore so I will get my Dad to scan them for me.

Jenna is very pleased to know what she is having. She is so cute. Today in the waiting room a lady asked Jenna if she had a name. Jenna looked at her and said plainly, "Yes." She then went back to her business of looking at the fish tank. The lady was like, "What did she say?" Tim said, "She said 'yes'." So funny - Jenna is Tim all over again the way she acts and the things she says and does.

Stay tuned for the sex of the baby...still taking "bets." Think it's a boy or a girl? Let us know!

I got on here to find out how your appointment went and to find out if you are having a boy or a girl....and because you are being so kind to your family. The people out in blog world are having to stand on their heads and wait to find out! I am so excited for you! I am glad your appointment went well!
