Ashley's 2nd Birthday Party - Part 2

When Ashley got up the day of her party (Saturday, the 3rd) and she saw me decorating she said, "It's my 'Happy to you!'"

The night before her party, I could hear her in her crib saying, "I'm TWO?!  I'M TWOOO?!?!"

Here is the Birthday Princess with a newly acquired skill:

(These next three I took.  I didn't take many at all because I had asked my dad to shoot the party so I could work, play and video tape.)  Here's Ashley enjoying fake cookie dough.  She is a nut!

My culinary masterpiece.  (If you know me, you know cakes are my weak point, especially layered ones, so I am proud!  We have had many- a leaning cakes!)

Upon seeing the cake I asked Ashley if it was what she had in mind.  She said, "It's JUST what I wanted!"  Melt my heart!

Let the sugar high commence!
