Jenna: 4 1/2 Years

August 22nd:

Jenna is 4 1/2 now and believe me - she adds in that half now...

She is still spending a lot of time with her sister following her every move.  (This was just someone's puppy at the beach the girls played with).
She is funny...
And beautiful...
And loves being outside.  And swimming in the pool and going to the beach.

She loves her "Daddy/Daughter Time."

She loves any time she gets to be with her Nana and Pa.

And she loves to say the prayer at night at the dinner table.  This is something Ashley will do too and it is CUTE!  She thanks God for every. Little. Thing.  And her prayers can go on and on and on...

Chasing a seagull:
She decided she'd pose herself and things got funny - and crazy!
She still loves Barbies, Littlest Pet Shop, and My Little Pony.  She is all about lip gloss and having her nails painted.  And FROGS!  And she recently got three inches cut off her hair (the day of these pictures) per her request.  "Three inches please."  She loves Mother/Daughter Beauty Days.  I got an inch and a half cut off.
Exercising?!
Jenna is smart.  She knows all  her letters and can name several words for each that begin with that letter.

She says words like "apparently" and I think it is funny.

She can write any word that we spell out for her.

She can spell her own name, Daddy, Mommy, Puppy, Nana, Amy, Jon and "Ash" without asking how to spell it.

She catches on too well when her Daddy and I spell in front of her.  And then lets  her little know what we spelled.

She also knows all the books of the New Testament.
She won't be starting her Pre-K 4 until September 15th.  It is the same school, but they have moved closer to us.  (Last year she had been in school for a couple weeks by this point!  She will be going Tuesday - Friday from 9AM-12 Noon.

"Apparently" I can't spell HALF. HAVE should be HALF. Reckon Jenna can teach me how to spell?
