Most people have trouble getting their kids to nap. I have been that person before. I was and still am with Jenna. But not really anymore with Ashley. Not ever anymore with Ashley. I gave up over two years ago with Jenna. Now she does "Quiet Time" so my ears don't bleed. The girl talks NON STOP. But with Ashley, napping is not usually an issue...
Case in point:
I could barely clean up lunch yesterday and Ashley had vanished. I went looking for her and she was in her room, lying on the floor by her crib, one pacifier in her hand and one pacifier in her mouth. She had her blanket "Liney" (Yes, named by her after Linus - always had his blanket with him - Van Pelt from The Peanuts) out of her crib and covering her.
This is what got me: She was was singing, "Nighty Nighty." And yes, she can speak perfectly clear and sing with a paci in her mouth.
This picture is from today after a short nap in the car on the way home from an outdoor (H.O.T.) shopping excursion with me and the girls:
Liney, Paci ("Tappy") in hand and mouth...
My Ashley:
I don't expect her to nap and it is getting too late for her to do so and keep her carved-in-stone 7:30 PM bedtime, so I assume she just wanted some alone time with her "tappies" and her "Liney."
