A friend of mine, who has two boys and a girl, told me yesterday that she doesn't know how I do it. And that if she were me, she'd probably cry. I had to laugh and then I answered her truthfully. Some days I do cry.
This little cherub...

...Well, she has horns.
I constantly file them down, but they grow back. ;o)
She is wild.
She is crazy.
And I couldn't love her more.
So, for those of you who think she can't really be as crazy as we say, she isn't.
She's crazier.
But she is also cuter than we could ever convey in this blog or pictures.
In the nursery at church yesterday, in a span of thirty minutes, she fed a baby some of his bottle, spoke to and played with two babies, danced and spoke to some moms, stood on some chairs, stole someone's purse, got in a walker and godzilla'd around in it, picked up the diaper disposer and threw it. Cackled maniacally, got a diaper change and threw some books. She also asked repeatedly, "Where's Jenna?" and "Where's Daddy?"
Wow.
The girl wears me out. I never wanted a boy because I knew it'd kill me. I saw how crazed my brother was as a baby/toddler/little boy. My mom called him "Tornado Brains."
I think he has nothing on Ashley.
So God gave me a petite lil girl that could beat the snot out of any boy.
She has taken Jenna down, who weighs twice as much as she does and is almost twice her height, with one arm.
I bet He gets a lot of laughs watching us. I know our family does.
And Jenna?
Well, she forgot to wear panties to church yesterday.
Thank goodness for her panty cover that she did wear.
And in the words of Ashley at the zoo in the frog exhibit on Saturday,
"What time is it?"
Then, said in her possessed baby voice, "FRRROGGY!"
She scared a grown man.
Seriously.
I'm off to hide the matches.

Are you sure that it's not Melana living with you? LOL! She is just exactly the same. I always thought boys were hard and always wanted a girl, but stopped having kids after my 3rd son...UNTIL God suprised me with my little devil. (hehehe)....she is as cute as a button, but OMGosh what a firecracker.
Like I said....Is Melana at your house?
I am afraid they are two of a kind. :o)
Lord help us all.
I laughed out loud. Again. I always do when I come here. Then I say a prayer for you. Then I pray again.
Sounds like you are handling it the best way you can ~ with lots of patience and laughter. And when it gets unbearable?
CALL ME COLLECT!! I'LL SEND YOU A GIFT CARD TO GO SPEND THE NIGHT AT A HOLIDAY INN!
Oh, it so sounds like she and River are two peas in a pod! People ask things like, "Is he always so...outgoing/excited/busy?"
(I usually nod and think to myself - and then some!)
Isn't it nice that they're cute!?!
Thank goodness:)
Well at least it's never a dull moment at your house right?! that's what I tell myself! At least she is adorable right :)
I got a real laugh out of this post!
