The Thursday before Easter Jenna's school had an Easter/Egg Hunt party at a park. My mom came to help me corral Ashley and Tim even stopped by for a little while.
They painted faces...
Ate candy...Ashley was eating a licorice jelly bean and liked it. (?!)
Visited the Easter Bunny...This is as close as Jenna would get and Ashley would have NO part in it!
They played on the playground. And slid down the slide...This picture was taken right after Ashley kicked a boy (of about three years old) down the slide! He was climbing up it, she didn't like it and she was standing at the top of the slide. She then kicked him down, slid down the slide and then GOT RIGHT IN HIS FACE!
Face blurred to protect the shamed...
They had a potato sack race/bunny hop. My child started before they were supposed to start and still lost.
And looked cute...
And found eggs...
And played many games and activities...They bowled, had a story read to them and played a parachute game....
And did an egg race...
We all had fun!

Funny story:
The other day Tim and I took the girls out to where he works to look at turtles and alligators. Ashley took it upon herself to run off to try to "kimb" or climb up some stairs. She was yelling, "Kimb! Kimb!"
As I was calling out her name I said to Tim, "I think you picked out the wrong name for her. Maybe that's NOT her name!"
Ashley stopped, turned around and smiled at us and said, "Ashy!" Hmmm. So she DOES know her name!

Your girls are beautiful, as always! I can't say that I blame them with the Easter Bunny...they can be pretty frightening :)
