Did they ruin dinner??

I have so many pictures from this weekend but no time lately.

I tried a new recipe tonight for dinner.  Describing it as gross would be the understatement of the century.

 I tasted it.  "BLUH."

I made Tim taste it.  He said, "Well that's no good."

It wasn't.  It really wasn't.

My feelings were not hurt.  I never wanted to see/taste/smell that awful recipe again!

I knew what I had to do.  I had to think fast.  We had thirty minutes before dinnertime hit.  Ashley would begin crying and Tim would get crabby.  Or is it the other way around?!  ;o)

I recruited Jenna to come with me on an emergency mission to the grocery store to get dinner.  While we were there, as loud as she could, she said, "Did all these people ruin their dinners too?!?!"  SHEESH!

We got laughs and I smiled like, "What can ya do..."

When we got back home, per my request, the horrible "dinner" had been disposed of and then Tim had also cleaned up the kitchen completely.  (AWWW.)

And we ate our fried chicken, potato salad, baked beans, bread and pineapple and lived happily ever after.  :o)
