ThE CiRcUs!

On January 24th, Jon, Amy and I took Jenna to the circus for the first time. To say she loved it would be an understatement.

Amy couldn't get a decent picture of both of us.  And Jenna wouldn't look at the camera because she was too concerned with the pre-circus show.  And by that I mean, the setting up of the circus - exciting times!

I bought some glow sticks and bracelets beforehand at a dollar store (It's not my first time out with a kid!) so as not to  spend all  the money in the bank there, but my mom gave Amy money to buy a souvenir for Jenna and so she did.  Against my will.  I tried to kick and scream but it was just too crowded.   And there were police there and stuff.  She got some spinning light up toy.  At least it didn't make noise.  I did bring earplugs for myself.  I hadn't been to a circus since I was in the third grade so I didn't know what to expect.
Here's Amy with the cereal box of popcorn.  Everything that went by Jon and Jenna wanted.  It was too funny.
And Jenna partook of everything Jon and Amy bought...
And everything I bought...which was really only this pretzel that was the size of her head and a soda.  And if you know me, you know I don't order or try to eat anything bigger than my head.  :o)  She is clearly her father's daughter!
Here she is conducting with one of the many glow sticks.  It was like she was the Queen of England.  Jon, Amy and I were constantly asking if she was having fun, if she could see, if she had to go to the bathroom, etc.
An elephant!  There were many of them.
It has been a while since we we to the circus (Ger-kiss is how Jenna was saying it before we went) and I never intended to fully discuss each photo, so we'll just call the ones like the below - Circus Goings-on

I didn't get a picture of them flying through the sky because I was watching Jenna.  She was so impressed.

More elephants...In a congo line?!

The tigers were angry and we believe they HATED their handler.  Even Jenna picked up on it and said, "Why are the tigers angwy?!"
More goings on...
These are a couple of crazy guys...These wheels went up and down and around.
They played a lot of music and Jenna was moving, singing and dancing the WHOLE TIME.  At one point she even asked Amy, "Don't you EVER FEEL IT?!"  (She says she's "Feeling it" when she likes a song and begins to dance.

In any case, we all had a blast and Jenna said Ashley would like it when she got a little bigger.  She's so wise.  Thanks for the fun times, Jon and Amy!
