Shocking New Word

Ashley, at 14 months old, learns and says a few new words each day. I haven't been documenting them all on here because she is learning more and more words and I can't keep up. Today I was shocked to hear her walk up to our trash can while I was cleaning up after lunch and say, "garbage" while pointing to it. Perfectly. She is a sharp little cookie.
She has been speaking in sentences (short ones) for a long time now. One of her newest phrases is, "I want more." She has been doing basic signs a long time (Jenna did too. I think it eases the communication frustration for toddlers when they can't say what they want but know what they want.) Anyway, Ashley will still do the "more" sign. Sometimes she will do it and say "more, more." It is too cute. Her little possessed, raspy voice. I have also taught her "please" and "thank you" and she will do the "please" and say "peeees" and dance around while doing the sign. Crazy. Other times she will laugh at me and refuse to say or sign please. She is too cute to say no to though. :o)

Other words, off the top of my head right now, and I know I will forget some, are:
- go go
- Baa-gee (A nickname for Molly Jenna came up with long ago. They will both occasionally still say "Baa" and Ash has tried to say Molly but she hasn't gotten that one down yet.)
- Daddy (instead of Da da - my heart breaks)
- Elf (As in Elf on the Shelf HAHA)
- Mom Mom (sometimes instead of Ma Ma - Jenna called me this until she was 2 1/2).
- Santa
- Ho Ho
- OOooh ooooh (When she LOOOVES something or is impressed by her own artistic (read: scribbling) skills
- "Pony Ony" (What she calls all horses, ponies and My Little Pony and Littest Pet Shop toy ponies and horses.)
- Yummy or yum yum
- "Mar! Mar!" (How she says "march.") That is for another post though.
- Bath

She can also say "Jenna" now instead of "Nenna." :o( (Family, when did Jenna master her own name?!?! HAHAHA)

Another new post is below and I did one Saturday and one Sunday as well.

Wow! She says a lot! Grace talked all the darn time when she was that age, but Maddy hasn't been showing any signs of interest. She says "momma" but that's about it. I might just like it w/ only one talker :)

That is a big vocabulary for a 14 month old!
