ENOUGH!

I have had it. And it's only September. I have to hear about it and read about it and see until November. Many of the people that read my blog are my friends and my family. (Most do not comment.) And I know some of my friends and family do not agree with me about religion or politics. I have friends I have met through my blog and they may or may not have the same beliefs I do. I really don't know and it will not make any difference in our friendship. I am a Conservative. Pretty much as Conservative as they come. I will not debate or lecture on my beliefs, because if you go to a Bible you can pretty much figure them out. (Did I lose some readers? Whatever.) For those of you still here:

I am sick and tired of hearing about the Liberals. It seems they can do no wrong. Everything is someone else's fault. No responsibility is taken. NONE. I won't mention a name or a blog, but one of my friends (we met through our blogs and I love her to death) recently blogged about the Republican VP nominee. It was all good. And then someone she thought was her friend emailed her and said they could still be friends, but to never write about politics again. HUH? It's HER blog and she has HER RIGHT to express HER views. Shared or not. Right or wrong. This is why people go to war, fight for our country and sometimes die. For people to have the freedom to say things - stupid or not.

Another friend of mine - in real life, old college roommate, Leah - holds my same views in politics and shares them all the time on her blog. She is a very smart woman who has the courage to stand up for what seems to be the minority in this world.

Now, to quote Leah, here we go: "Why is it that Liberals can say anything they want to say and yet when *I* voice my opinion, I'm a hate monger, a war monger, closed minded and evil?"

I don't know why either!!

This is probably all I will ever say on the matter. AND I do not necessarily like or dislike any of the nominees. I am just TIRED of hearing about it. No "hate mail" please.
