For Uncle Jon...

...On his birthday! (Which is Thursday).

While I don't normally announce and wish a happy birthday to members of the family other than my girls and Tim, today's post is an exception. For as long as Jenna has been around, she has been ALL ABOUT her Uncle Jon (my sister, Amy's husband). He has been trying to train her in the way of proper ice cream stirring for a long time. Sunday, after church services, Jon didn't go out to lunch with us as he usually does and he missed it. Luckily, we had my camera and my dad took many pictures to document this momentous occasion.
Ice cream, of course, ended up everywhere.
Gotta lick off any that tried to get away!
Look at that form! And that mess!
She did mention "Jon taught me."
Checking the consistency.
We hope you have a happy birthday, Jon! Hope this made you smile.

And lastly, the Wordless Wednesday post with Molly, found here, had a story behind it. Since stickers were involved I am sure many of you assumed Jenna was behind it. You would be mistaken. Jenna wasn't even around at the time. Since Jenna has gone back to morning school, Ashley has gone "treasure seeking" in her room every day. Without fail. The other day Ashley got some stickers and then chased Molly down, while saying, "Baa! Baa!" and pretty much taped her mouth shut with a sticker. Molly wasn't barking or anything, yet Ashley was pleased with what she had done. She is so funny and so smart. And sometimes, just a tad bit scary...

I LOVE the sticker on Molly! Ice cream stirring is an art form, isn't it?
