The Big 5-0-0

Yep, this is my 500th blog post! Wow...I don't really have anything else to say about it, I just thought I'd mention it. Here are some pictures from the past couple of weeks of the girls. Some are even before Ash's surgery.

Jenna was rambling on about a fly a couple weeks ago and I said I'd get it in a minute. She appeared not a minute later, fly in hand, saying she "got him." I had the camera right there and started clicking away. I don't know if she actually used the flyswatter or not. I have seen her catch one right out of the air! (LOTS of soap and warm water was used after this picture was taken.) The girls being loony in the pack n play. Jenna's face is hilarious. See what happens when I put Ashley in for a few minutes? She is joined by her big sis!
This picture was taken Sunday before last. I got in the car and felt I was being watched. I was. I turned and saw this:
Scary!!

This is what happens when you go out to celebrate someone's birthday and they only bring ice cream to the birthday person- the three year old takes over!! (My brother Jason didn't want it anyway.)
When Ashley had her surgery, Jenna stayed at my mom and dad's house (Nana and Pa) overnight the day before and they had her the day of the surgery. They took Jenna out and Jenna wanted to get Ash a present. Below is the toy (V Tech Discovery Nursery Farm for ages 9 to 36 months) Jenna picked out and Bebe loves it. I recommend it highly. Um, yeah, and Jenna likes it too. We have several toys by this company and love them.Jenna and Ash playing with it.
Jenna with Boo's handle in her mouth.
Here's one of me and Bebe at one of the incision recheck appointments. The lighting there was bad and her incision was really angry so I thought it best to black and white this one.
Jenna bumped her head Wednesday night in the bath. She said, "Now I have a bump on my head like Bebe." Then she was trying to get us to put "sauce" (AKA antibiotic ointment) on it.

Bebe Fabulous - as always...One always needs a boa while riding on the Popcorn Popper.
Ashley's incision is looking so much better and around the house she doesn't wear a band-aid anymore.

This picture was taken of Ashley today at Babies R Us. This, my friends, is how she rolls...
You got a problem with it?!

While we were out yesterday shopping, Jenna saw the movie "The Last Unicorn," which my mom bought her last week. My sister and I loved this when we were kids. Jenna does now too. Anyway, she said, "There are only three left!" and then proceeded to look at the "Gremlins" movie. She pointed to this picture (a stock photo) on the front of the movie case and said, "The Last Gizmo! I gotta see this!" You see, my mom and dad's dog, Gizmo,is named after this little Gremlin guy. (Do you see the scary resemblance??) And yes, he sounds like one too. Anyway, I need to find it on TV and record it and show her a little of it - the non-scary parts only - so she can see him. I could show her on my computer but then she'd be obsessed and want to watch it over and over on here. I just thought it was funny.

That's it for now.

Love the pictures! Meadow and River both catch flies. Well, Meadow doesn't anymore, now she thinks it's yucky. (thank goodness!)

I loved the photo's. I had to laugh because we own The Last Unicorn too. I also loved it as a little girl.

I am glad her incision is healing well now :)

HAHAH! That buggy pic with Ashley cracks me UP! "This is how she rolls...." ROFL!

Also, that fly snatcher. Was that fly still kicking or had she killed it already?

Congrats on the 500th post!

DITTO about Ash in the buggy and your words for it, and I have to tell you the girls playing in the playyard together reminded me of the times Jenny would catch Ian in Noah's crib playing with his toys ha ha I laughed every time.
