Ashley: 7 Months

Ashley's first trip to the beach...
Jenna said, "You are seven months old now! You're a big kid so no more eating paper, k?"

Dear Little Ash,

Yesterday you turned seven months old. I can't believe seven months have already gone by. It really seems like just a few weeks ago that I brought you home from the hospital. But, in some ways, it seems you have always been with me.
You can say the following words: Boo, ma ma, na na, hi, and da da. You actually use them all correctly too. The other day Jenna and I were talking about Daddy and you started to shout "da da." Last night at the beach you were saying "yeah, yeah, yeah" in your little possessed baby voice. For a minute there I thought it was Jenna saying it trying to be funny but it was you! You were so pleased with yourself.
You can wave and it is so cute because you wave like a little beauty queen. You can get all over the place by rolling and army crawling. You are especially mobile in the walker. Just the other day you and Jenna were playing hide and go seek. Only Jenna would hide and then you'd take off to find her. You went from the living room to the kitchen to the dining to the foyer and only stopped on your way to Jenna's room to find her because Molly was on Daddy's ottoman. You left a trail of fruit puffs (AKA star crackers).
You are very ticklish and love to giggle and laugh and smile. You are one of the happiest babies I have ever seen. I am so thankful for you and look forward to getting you out of your crib every morning. You are such a little sunshine heart. You have a great sense of humor and always make us laugh. We think you are trying to be funny and that is so cute!

You love to pet Molly, stare at Molly, and give Molly treats. You also like to run her over at full speed in your walker. You have a bit of a devilish side to you, Bebe and it is hilarious.
You love to go out to the park in our backyard and play in the playhouse with Jenna and swing on the swing set. You giggle and squeal with delight as you swing and it is so cute.
You can motion for more or when you want something. If you are not acknowledged you are sure to let us know.
You love to go to Sunday school and church and you love to sing. At least, that is what we call it.

You LOVE Jenna's laptop and have gotten to where when someone walks up while you are using it, you close it, as if to hide your work. It is great!
You are still so little and in size one diapers and can still wear 0-3 month clothes. You are just starting to be able to wear size 3-6 month clothes. You love how little you are but if we talk too much about how small you are you get mad and scream as if to assert yourself. Such a little diva miss.
You are a little mama just like Jenna and love to play with dolls. You really want one of her newborn Cabbage Patch dolls. I may need to get you one.
