We went to the Zoo yesterday - again - with Jenna's school for a field trip. (When the girls and I went with my Mom (Nana) a
couple weeks ago we knew the school would be going but wanted to go anyway.) Since Nanny and Poppy are in town they came along too. We all had fun. I am really starting to think the zoo is Ash's favorite place!
When we went a couple weeks ago all Jenna wanted to do was feed the goats. Well, they changed it to groom the goats and we got there after they were closed for the day. They close an hour before the zoo does. Anyway, we made a bee line for the goats yesterday and we are glad we did. Jenna loved it!
At last...

Jenna kept switching out the brushes and was really frantic with the whole process. It was great to watch.

She and this goat had a chat...

Um, yeah. He was large and in charge and had both his front feet in the food dish!

Giraffes: The baby was so cute and 11 weeks old...

Jenna fed one and was so happy.

As usual, Ash napped a bit and woke up again later for some more fun. More pictures to come...

look at the lashes on that babies cheeks!!
That is so cool that you live so close to a "real" zoo that you can go so often. Our closest zoo would be in Atl. We want to try to take the kids before it gets too hot :-)
