Ashley's 4 Month Stats and CRAZY Jenna

Ashley Elizabeth's 4 Month Stats: (notice they are at almost 4 1/2 months but anyway)

Weight: 12 pounds 6 ounces (26th percentile) I think Jenna was this big at her 2 month appointment!!!!! I have two extremes. Jenna was/is tall and Ash is short/tiny.

Height: 24" (27th percentile) I am not too sure this was accurate because she is such a wiggly worm. Don't tell Ash but I don't think she is two feet tall yet.

Head Circumference: 15 1/2 inches

She is developmentally right on target and in most cases ahead of schedule. She is also working on two bottom teeth (the pointy ones! Haha) and one of her top middle teeth.

She was pleased to be there...until the shots...
Ashley has been eating cereal for about three weeks now and we are going to start squash today. She is such a big kid!

Here is Jenna playing with a bead set from Nanny and Poppy - she was pleased to be there too. I had my Mom come and help me because Jenna was STILL saying her ear hurt. Turns out to be an OUTER ear infection. I've had one a few times before and they hurt. (I usually only take the kid that has the appointment but I wanted to get her looked at again.) Jenna was saying "Cheeeese" with her eyes slammed shut apparently.
Ashley showing off her stature. More pictures with the bandanna and the funny reason why she was wearing it later...
Conversations with Jenna:
This morning at 8:58 AM Jenna asked for a lollipop. I told her it was too early. It wasn't even 9:00 yet. She stood there, waited for the nine to pop up and said, "Now it's 9:00!" That was not what I meant and told her she'd have to wait until 11:00 for a lollipop.

Last night Tim was in OUR bathroom brushing his teeth and minding his own business. Jenna busts in and says, "I need to go potty." Tim just kept brushing figuring she'd go and that would be the end of that. She then said, "HEY! Why don't you speak to me?!?! I NEED my privacy!!" Tim was then booted from the bathroom, toothbrush in hand and came to tell me what happened. So I come into our bedroom and the bathroom door is shut. Jenna is flushing the potty and says, "It stinks in here. Turn on the fan!!" Tim and I just cracked up and I then told her that in the future we'd appreciate it if she stunk up HER OWN bathroom. Good grief. She's almost three and she's going on 14!!

And finally, yesterday on the way home from Ash's appointment my Mom was on her cell phone. Jenna did not see this and heard my Mom talking and talking and me just sitting there. Finally Jenna said, "Mommy! Why you no speak to Nana?! Speak to her!!!!" I guess she thought I was being rude. (If you have not yet noticed Jenna likes to use the word speak instead of talk...)

loved the smiles this brought to my heart! Jenna is like Jenny's Ian, you never know WHAT they're going to say! Ash is just as precious as her big sister!

We all know Jenna needs her "pri" when she goes potty. I thought you guys would've known that by now. :) This made me laugh when I read it. Can't wait for the pony party.
