Not so fun time at the park

Tim and I took the two girls (not Molly, though we usually do take her) to the park near our house. It was over run by older kids who had, like, one adult per 20 kids. It was insane. I don't know if it was a party or what. There was loud, inappropriate (for young ears) music and kids were talking into a microphone (huh?) I had to call down two kids within two minutes of being there. Jenna got elbowed and then knocked in the face by two different kids. She almost cried. It was sad. Another little girl, not much older than Jenna walked by and said, "Oh shoot." But she didn't say shoot. I was beside myself!! We weren't there long and the gnats were bad. Really bad. Like I could feel them taking up residence in my hair bad. Jenna decided she wanted to leave and so we did. I think she had enough. Ashley enjoyed herself however. Anyway, I think these two pictures speak for themselves...

These kids were hanging all over the place like monkeys! Jenna looks oblivious in this picture but she got fed up real fast!
Ashley being a cutie pie.
Maybe next time we go there won't be so many people and gnats!

There is nothing more annoying than having kids out in public with no supervision who are acting like fools. Glad you hightailed it outta there!

I think I would have blown a gasket to hear some little kid say the "s" word. And yet we wonder why the world has become like it has. The parents of that child need to have mouths washed out with soap. Grrrrr....I will now safely remove the soapbox from underneath me. :)

We have an indoor playground at the mall near us and when it's rainy, that place is so crazy it takes all the fun out of it. I nearly got into a fight with some mom who wouldn't do anything when her child KICKED Faith in the stomach. I was PISSED. I'm getting pissed now. GAH!!!

cutie pie is right.
