In any case, on the 22nd Jenna was 35 months old...one more month until her 3rd birthday. I am happy and sad - as only a mom can understand. I'll do Jenna's pictures first and then Ashley's.
Dear Jenna,In one short month you will be three so I will save all the profoundness for then. Here are some funny/sweet things from the past month:
When trying on shoes, before the shoe was even ON YOUR FOOT you said, "It fits. IT FITS!!" I said, "Why, because it has glitter on it?" And you said, "Yes."
Mommy: "Do you even care what my answers are to all your "WHY" questions?!?!
Jenna: "Nope."
You have also gotten REALLY into saying, "I can do it myself." And of course there is still "Me do" which makes you sound like a cave man. I have even heard you say, "I don't want your help." Um, okay then. I am glad you are doing all these big kid things by yourself and I am proud of you. Just sad you are growing up - and way too fast.
You get deeper and deeper into the world of My Little Pony every day. You are more into them now than before Christmas. (Ashley is also VERY into all things pony as well). I can't wait to take you to the pony farm next month with your class. You will love it!You have also taken to washing your snack cups in your bathroom sink with hand soap so I "won't have to do it." You truly are a sweet and thoughtful child.
You think everyone, including yourself, is crazy and use that word all the time. You relish in being nuts just like your mommy!If you wake up before me and Ashley in the morning you go potty all by yourself and then play quietly until we get up.
And of course, you love your baby sister more and more every day. (Your Daddy took this picture.) You sing Ashley the ABC song when she cries and you try to calm her down. She usually calms down the minute you start talking to her.

I've been lurking on your blog since sept. or so but never commented...I found you through a friend of a friend of a friend(you know how it goes!) I too have a little drama queen of my own who is 4 and a sweet boy who is 2. I love reading your "crazy" stories because as a mom of two I have those moments all the time :-) Your pictures were great! One question...are you a member of the Church of Christ?? I've noticed you linked on a lot of sites that I visit of friends who are too?? Just wondering if we also have that in common..
