2007 and a Game of Tag

Reflections on the year 2007...

This year was a busy one, like most years I suppose. We had a big surprise when we found out Ashley was on her way in February. I was very sick with her in the beginning and into the middle of the pregnancy. I potty trained Jenna. My paternal grandma died unexpectedly and suddenly on the 4th of July. Tim and I spent a lot of time getting ready for Ash and making Jenna her big kid Dora the Explorer room. My office is now gone but Jenna does so well in her big girl room and she loves it. She still refers to it as "my Dora room." Or more like "My DORA room!!" Jenna became a big sister - and an awesome one at that! And I became a mother of two little divas!

Jenna has became such a little person. She has such a bright personality and is so funny just like her Daddy. Some examples can be found in "As Told By Jenna" and "Jenna-isms."

I thought I would do a long post but then I found this little tag game below and it filled in most of the year. Plus, I am tired and I went to bed early!

As for my resolutions...I still need to lose some baby weight (it does not come off as easily after the second baby). I want to get better at dividing my time between the two girls and of course be a better wife and mother.

Now for the Game of tag. 2007...What was your year like?

An unexpected blessing- My Ashley Elizabeth. She was such a wonderful surprise.

Feeling important- I don't know about feeling important but I am so proud of my beautiful girls.

Craziest thing I did- Um, yeah that would be wreck my new car. :o( I have it back all better now though.

Smartest thing I did- Potty train Jenna. We did it amazingly fast now that I look back on it but it seemed to be slow going while living through it...

Sentimental moment- Both having Ashley, seeing Jenna with Ash for the first time, and losing my paternal grandma in July.

Most enjoyable gift- My Mac computer. Use it all the time - using it now. Another would be my Canon Rebel but I got that at the end of 2006...

Craziest purchase turnabout- Don't really have one...

Moments of maturity- Potty training Jenna. We all lived to tell about it. Seeing Jenna grow up so fast once she became a big sister.

Huge answers to prayer- Ashley. Jenna wanted a baby and she got one!
