Making "Scary Cookies" and the Polite Police

Every Thursday night when "Survivor" is on we do a "Dinner Party" as Jenna likes to call it. We make dinner and have my parents (AKA Nana and Pa) over and watch the show. Jenna LIVES for these nights because she loves her "Nanapa" coming over to see her.

Last Thursday we decided to make Halloween sugar cookies for after dinner. Jenna did most of it by herself with little help from me. She so doesn't take after me in the kitchen. She's a natural born chef. Anyway, the Halloween cookies quickly became "Scary Cookies" because of the amount of sugar sprinkles she used on the cookies. All sorts of colors and Halloween shapes. She had a blast and sugar and flour were all over us and the floor! The whole ordeal took over two hours and I was so tired. Tim came home and was scared of the sight of us and the kitchen. He even swept up all the sugar and flour off the floor. I probably would've died doing that after two hours of sheer joy on Jenna's part. Here are some pictures of Little Miss Crocker enjoying the the sweet reward of all her hard work. And her Nana and Pa were impressed!
I hate to admit it, but I looked worse than she did after all was said and done.
Ah, the sheer joy of eating straight colored sugar!
Yesterday we were out at a store and we had to go potty. As we were trying to fit in the door (not an easy feat anyway for me these days) people were coming out. Jenna is the Polite Police. She even "Blesses" Molly after she sneezes. Anyway, Jenna looked at each of the women and said, "Excuse you!" I was trying to get her to say "Excuse me" but to no avail. She's cute so I guess she can get a way with it.

Jenna is such a adorable girl she can get away with anything, LOL! I love hearing that all kids do stuff like that. I hate it when I can't get the handicap bathrooms because I cannot fit with two girls and myself. The pictures are adorable! I cannot wait to hear what you are naming your new baby, not long now.
