I am in the last week of my second trimester. 91 days to go until the big day! I have been feeling like I was in my third trimester for a few weeks now what with all the leg cramps, back pains, and having to use the bathroom all the time. The child thinks my bladder is a kickball! And let's not forget the heartburn that I have had since day one with this pregnancy...I'll be OK because it is all for a good cause. So, I am 27 weeks pregnant today and the diaper beanetta is about the size of a two liter soda bottle. I don't doubt it. I feel huge and I probably look huge too! She weighs in at about 2.4 pounds and is a little over 15 inches long or tall.
I found this picture the other day. I guess the baby is still pretty translucent...It said it was a 27 week old fetus but I am not sure. In any case, it is a neat picture so I thought I'd add it.

I have been feeling a lot of hiccups. She gets them almost every evening. My stomach jumps and jiggles. I also read somewhere that it is not unusual for one to feel the baby kick about ten times in a two hour time period. This baby is waaaay more active than that as was her big sister. My girls are all about working on their fitness. :oP
Here is a 3 D 27 week sonogram. Not our baby but I thought it was neat. The little hands up by the face are precious!

I have my
glucose screening test tomorrow afternoon. This is completely routine and they do it between 24-28 weeks on all the preggos. I had it done with Jenna and basically you are there for an hour and you drink a flat orange soda and then they take your blood every so often. It wasn't so bad last time because Jenna was all about orange soda but this one can take it or leave it. It is so strange how each pregnancy is different.
Here is another 27 week ultrasound in 3 D. Not ours, but cute. I love the little balled up fist by his or her mouth.

I also came across
this site - just today and I wish I had found it sooner. For all you pregnant gals out there - go to this site and plug in when you think you conceived and it shows you a live little baby that moves and everything. It is so cool!

I'm enjoying your pregnancy posts! They're very informative. :)
I found on on the 5th that I am (finally) pregnant, too! And it seems it's going to stay (if the nausea and fatigue are any indication . . . ). I started a blog here: http://tiny-socks.livejournal.com, if you're interested in checking it out. :)
I had an early glucose tolerance test, because I didn't make the cutoff on the BMI chart. It wasn't too bad - at least they chilled the soda. :)
Thanks for posting the cool links! :)
