We had a pile of nutrient rich dirt delivered to our house Thursday. We had some grass in the front but not too much and we decided (and had the money) to go ahead and get sod. Our dirt is basically sand here and that is why we got this dirt, so all the sod we are buying will have a chance. Most of our seeds from when the yard was seeded (by the people who built the house and then again by us) washed out into the streets so we are hoping this works!
Jenna had so much fun "helping" her Daddy. The first picture is from Thursday afternoon and the rest are from yesterday. She did climb the dirt pile and then started sliding down it. She was so dirty but had so much fun that we let her
The sod is all down now and we are watering it like crazy. It looks really pretty though and we are glad to finally have it - grass. Wow. Who would've thought we'd ever be happy to buy sod?!?!
In other news Boo has a "home" now. Not a house, a home apparently. Jenna had a Happy Meal today from McDonald's and decided that it was Boo's home instead of the Shrek it came with. Shrek, as lovely as he is, burps, says he's an ogre and says something else we can't understand, but Jenna loves him. She just doesn't love him in Boo's home.
I forgot to mention that when I went to see my doctor on Wednesday for my check up for baby girl #2 the doctor had a hard time finding the heartbeat. Not to worry though because she was just in there jazzercising. (I put a link just in case no one knows what it means...I thought it was an eighties thing but who knows.) She was moving around so much that it was hard to hear a heartbeat and not hear all the movement. I mentioned that Jenna was crazy in the womb and "jazzercising" as I called it all the time. Seems her little sister may be even crazier than she is! That's a good thing, we like crazy here. :oP
I am worn out from the shopping trip Jenna and I took today so I am going to go. We had a fun filled day and even got to have lunch with Amy and Jon. That always pleases Jenna. Have a great weekend and Happy Mother's Day to all the moms and moms-to-be out there reading this!

Rowan got that Shrek toy too, and we've been trying to figure out what he's saying. It's so weird!
I bet you guys have a riding lawn mower for all that nice grass you'll have. Poor Matt's been mowing our giant, hilly yard with a push mower.
We think Shrek is saying, "I'm on it." But who knows. Don't you just love the burp? Jenna thinks it's so funny to sneak around and push it. Tim said he likes the toy. Of course!
