14 Weeks: Apple Status

First of all:

There is some debate on whether the first trimester ends at 12, 13 or 14 weeks, but now I know for sure I am out of the first trimester. Sadly, I am still sick dealing with the morning, noon and night sickness. Hope this goes away soon. I have still only gained a pound even though looking at me you'd think I was gaining weight. It's really weird. I DO look pregnant when I wear my "fat clothes" AKA maternity clothing but in regular clothes, for the most part, I just look fat.

O.K. so I am 14 weeks today and the diaper bean is 4 inches crown to rump and weighs in at 2.5 ounces. The baby is the size of an apple. Now, we will hit the big growth spurt - the baby is fully formed and just has to grow now and develop some more.

Here is a picture of a 14 week old fetus:

I am not as tired as I was, but I am still tired and the sickness is still upon me! Hopefully, since the fatigue is slowly easing the sickness will too.
